I explore the complex emotions tied to growth and pain, capturing the delicate interplay between inner experiences and outward expression.

The “Growing” series (left three) reflects the process of emotional and intellectual expansion. The ears, symbolically intertwined with branches, represent how we evolve through listening—absorbing knowledge, stories, and emotions from our surroundings. The two portraits, numbers 1 and 2, capture a younger version of myself, confronting moments of confusion, self-doubt, and a yearning for clarity. Together, these pieces embody the ongoing challenge of finding my voice in a noisy world, while also absorbing the lessons of those around me.

In the “Pain” series (right three), I focus on how personal suffering manifests in quiet, introspective moments. The central image of hands holding an origami piece (a fragile and precise creation) evokes both the beauty and the difficulty of holding onto something delicate. The accompanying self-portraits (numbers 3 and 4) highlight vulnerability—expressions that embody the silent endurance of emotional pain and resilience. The rawness in these drawings allows me to confront discomfort and present a candid reflection of internal struggles.
