In this series of collages, I work with the surreal juxtaposition between reality and fantasy to challenge our perceptions of the everyday. Each piece contrasts familiar human scenes—beaches, cities, or historical landmarks—with exaggerated, dreamlike intrusions, such as oversized sea creatures or miniature human figures. The collages are meant to recall a sense of wonder and disorientation. They offer a playful yet unsettling commentary on the fragile boundary between the known and the unknown, questioning our control over the natural and artificial worlds we inhabit. The dramatic scale shifts within the pieces—giant animals in domestic settings or tiny humans in vast technological landscapes—invite the viewer to think about the enormity of the universe and humanity’s place within it.
